Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an Underground Technical Support Manager (TSM) for Drills to lead the Product Support and Technical Advisor teams. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient maintenance and high-quality service across the customer fleet of jumbo, solo, and cabolter equipment under the service contract.

The ideal candidate will manage projects within the contract scope, collaborate with Sales and Product lines, and ensure alignment with EH&S guidelines and Indonesian regulations while

Qualifications

• Must have Lototo and WAH certificates.
• Experience leading a post-sales support team in heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven track record in customer relationship management and service delivery.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

This high-profile role to help lead and develop the Product Support and Technical Advisor team. The team provide Service support to maintain the Customer fleet of Underground Mining equipment (Jumbo's, Solo's and Cabolter's) in a fit for purpose state. Ensuring optimum use of available resources to execute safe and efficient maintenance activities whilst ensuring contract KPI's are achieved by guiding technical staff through both preventative maintenance tasks and breakdown repairs. Manage and maintain projects within the scope of the service contract and provide a link between the Sales organization and the Product line. The candidate will need to work with the Customer in accordance with Sandvik Mining Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Regulations, Indonesian Standards and Regulations, and Site-specific rules and regulations.

• Ensure working practices are well defined and operational with minimal disruption using technology to improve efficiency as appropriate.
• Manage the team and individual performance, technical and skills development

• Remain aware of new product developments in the area of network technology providing input and tactical direction to the business on customer service and support challenges.
• Manage and maintain internal and external aftermarket projects within the scope of the service contract.
• Service and Safety Bulletin management.
• Compile and review of safe work procedures.
• Support service contract Project Manager & General Manager where needed.
• Grow Customer Relationship
