Job summary

Sekolah.mu in Jakarta seeks IELTS tutors for private and group sessions, online and offline, across partner schools. You will create lesson plans, learning materials, and IELTS simulation questions, review and provide feedback, and generate progress reports.

You should be available evenings and weekends to fit student schedules, and may serve as an assessor for IELTS test simulations. Teaching in curriculum development and advising prospective users are also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Education or English Literature.
• Master's degree preferred, especially from overseas.
• IELTS score of at least 7.5.
• Minimum 1 year IELTS teaching experience.

Job description

We are currently open to both Full-Time and Part-Time tutors, offering flexibility to match your availability and preferred working arrangement.

What you will do

• Teaching and facilitating students in private (1-on-1) or group sessions in IELTS test preparation for all IELTS components online and offline, including at Siap Kuliah partner schools or institutions.
• Creating lesson plans, learning materials, and practice questions, which include IELTS simulation questions.
• Reviewing, assessing, and providing feedback on each student's work.
• Creating student progress reports.
• Willing to teach during and after work/school hours to adhere to the student's school schedule, including evening and weekend sessions.
• Serving as an assessor for the IELTS Test Simulation, including roles as administrator, proctor, and examiner
• Actively participate in the development of the IELTS curriculum and teaching materials.
• Serving as a promotional resource and adviser to prospective Siap Kuliah users.

Requirements

• Minimum S1 level majoring in English Education or English Literature. Master's degree holders are preferred, especially those from overseas.
• Have taken the IELTS test and obtained an overall score of at least 7.5.
• Have at least one year of IELTS teaching experience.
• Able to use online learning tools such as LMS, Zoom, and interactive webpages
• Preferred domiciled in Jabodetabek.
