Job summary

Japfa, an Indonesia-based agribusiness company, is seeking a Treasury Manager in Jakarta to oversee cash flow, borrowings, debt and capital management. The role involves forecasting, cash optimization, and building relationships with financial service providers.

You will collaborate with finance teams, monitor bank fees, and ensure accurate cash/Bank schedules for month-end close. Requirements include a finance degree and 3–5 years of treasury experience, plus SAP proficiency and strong English

Responsibilities

• Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management
• Allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earning forecasts
• Prepare or monitor company's various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.
• Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
• Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
• Manage relationships with financial service providers.
• Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues
• Monthly cash flow statement and forecast

Deliverables

• Bank reconciliation Statements
• Production of Cash/Bank schedules to support month-end book closure

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Have professional certification (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional, Chartered Financial Analyst) may be preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in treasury management, finance, or related roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Technical Skills:
• Able to operate SAP programs.
• Expert in general banking systems and procedures (such as making Giro and checks).
• Understand Forex Lines
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good in English. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence decision-making.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The capacity to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and patterns, and propose innovative solutions to financial challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Given the importance of accuracy in financial reporting and risk management.
