Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a fully qualified Lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE in debt capital markets or banking and finance law. The ideal candidate has experience in private practice or in-house settings with transactional DCM, structured finance, derivatives or insurance transactions.

Strong organizational and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with excellent drafting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' PQE in debt capital markets or banking/finance law.
• Background in private practice or in-house with transactional DCM or banking & finance experience.
• Experience with DCM, structured finance including securitisation, derivatives or insurance transactions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict attention to detail in all drafting and document preparation.
• Manage deadlines and deliverables, taking ownership of projects and funding platforms.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to support deal execution and compliance.

• A fully qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years' PQE, currently working in debt capital markets or banking or finance law.
• A background in a private practice or in-house environment with transactional debt capital markets or banking and finance experience. Experience with debt capital markets, structured finance (including securitisation), derivatives and/or insurance transactions would be well regarded.
• Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong drafting abilities coupled with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines, with a natural inclination to deliver a high standard of work at all times, and an ability to work in a team environment whilst taking ownership for projects and broader funding platforms.
