Job description

As Transport Planner, you will be responsible for undertaking high quality transport planning analysis, documentation and visualisation across transport planning studies, traffic pattern analysis, public transport analysis, modelling analysis both macro and microsimulation, and future transport studies to support solutions for development and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

  • Assist in transport modelling analysis using macro and microsimulation tools, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.
  • Conduct traffic impact assessments and future transport studies to support infrastructure and development planning.
  • Present findings to clients and stakeholders, contributing to project bids and proposals.
  • Technical analysis to support the planning, design and development of transport infrastructure (e.g. Toll Roads, BRT, LRT or MRT)
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations in transport analytics, and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

Is this role right for you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in transport planning, civil engineering (with transport focus), or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in transport planning, modelling, or traffic engineering.
  • Proficiency in modelling software such as VISUM, VISSIM, EMME, and CUBE.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian transport regulations and standards; experience in transport master planning is a plus.
