Job description

Summary

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Training Officer is responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Learning function and Human Resources Division, assisting the Learning & Development Manager including Human Resources leaders with the implementation of Hyatt's People Philosophy throughout the hotel.


Qualifications
  • Ideally with degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build colleague relationships at all levels, with strong focus in driving positive colleague experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous experience as Training Officer at 5 (five) star International Hotel Chain.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, agile with change.
  • Strong communication (both oral and written) and excellent customer service skills.
  • Be familiar with Databases, online people platforms or Managing an internal system.
  • Be able to collate, run reports and provide data, either through the Learning hub (LMS)/excel reporting.
  • Passion for learning and Development.
  • Be ambitious to learn with a curiosity for development.
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Internet, and Outlook, Teams and Zoom.
