TikTok Project Business Development (TSP & MCN)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Specialist – TikTok Shop Partner (TSP)
- Identify and grow a pipeline of potential clients, promote the company’s services, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet client’s business goals and challenges, ensuring the delivery and performance of TikTok Shop solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential clients and trends within TikTok and other e-commerce ecosystems.
- Develop and implement strategies to build a strong sales funnel focused on TSP services.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their e-commerce needs and demonstrate how Smack’s solutions can enhance their performance and brand presence as TSP.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, GMV forecasts, and revenue performance to management.
2. Responsibilities: Business Development Specialist (MCN)
- Approach KOLs/KOCs: Identify and reach out to potential KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and KOCs (Key Opinion Consumers) aligned with the company's brand and objectives. Develop and maintain relationships through consistent communication and engagement.
- Build a KOL pool: Research and compile a database of potential KOLs beneficial for the brand’s marketing and promotional activities. Monitor social media platforms, industry trends, and competitor activities to discover emerging KOLs.
- Acquire KOLs to join the MCN: Present the benefits of joining the company's MCN to potential KOLs. Negotiate and formalize partnerships, ensuring mutual benefits and clear collaboration terms.
- Build engagement with KOLs: Train KOLs about Smack and its advantages for their personal brands and audiences. Provide support and resources to help KOLs utilize TikTok’s platforms effectively for promotions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in digital marketing or social media advertising (creator industry).
- Ability to speak both English and Mandarin is a plus for effective communication.
- Strong understanding of TikTok as a marketing platform, including its ad tools, user behavior, and trending products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and closing deals through negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills to assess KOL impact and effectiveness.
- Familiarity with industry and market dynamics. Knowledge of KOL management tools and platforms is advantageous.
