Job summary

PT Yili Indonesia Dairy is seeking a Production Engineer to support daily production operations, ensure process parameters, and drive continuous improvement. Hands-on with Tetra Pak machines is essential and knowledge of SIG machines is advantageous.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with Maintenance, QA, and Production, and lead Lean, Kaizen, and CAPA initiatives while ensuring GMP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience as Production Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar in manufacturing.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Tetra Pak machines.
• Experience with SIG machines is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure production targets, process parameters, and SOPs are followed.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues and coordinate with Maintenance and Technicians for resolution.
• Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of production equipment.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and support production processes involving Tetra Pak machines.
• Support equipment calibration, process monitoring, and technical inspections.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead or support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure product quality and food safety requirements.
• Support CAPA for production and quality issues.
• Identify production risks and ensure K3/HSE and food safety compliance.
• Maintain production records and performance reports.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve operational issues.
• Support new equipment installation and process modification.
