Job summary

Sun Life Indonesia seeks a QA/Test Engineer to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for each sprint, defining scope and criteria with the Product Manager and engineering team. You will execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests on web and mobile platforms, triage defects, and build automated suites integrated into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure high-quality releases.

Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies for each sprint and release cycle; define test scope, entry/exit criteria, and risk-based testing priorities in collaboration with the Product Manager and engineering team.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT test cases across web and mobile platforms; identify, document, and triage defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification using JIRA.

Build and maintain automated test suites for regression coverage; integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable faster release cycles without compromising quality.

Maintain accurate API documentation, system diagrams, and technical runbooks;

Preferred skills / Compétences particulières

• Manual and automated testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance - Test automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent
• API testing tools: Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent
• Defect management using JIRA or equivalent tools
• CI/CD integration for automated test execution (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
• Mobile testing on Android and iOS devices/emulators
