Job description

We are looking for Territory Manager (Indonesia) in North Sumatra and West Java with proven strong sales track record. Please specific your work location, current and expected salary as well as your notice period.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to accelerate growth, improve margins, and create value in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies, distribution customer selection, and customer partnership programs to ensure strong and continued market coverage.
  • Develop and implement product positioning and pricing strategies to capture market share and provide distribution support for the full range of products.
  • Acquire new customers and maintain profitable partnerships with new and existing customers.
  • Monitor sales development and forecasts, perform analysis, and prepare corrective actions.
  • Report on sales development and key performance indicators.
  • Lead and manage monthly sales forecasting, an annual 5-year sales plan, and marketing plan.
  • Implement a Customer Relationship Management platform.
  • Select, challenge, and develop the organization in a responsible area.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, objectives, key performance indicators, and key initiatives for the responsible area, and ensure reporting by the team and to management.
  • Manage the territory sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify and pursue new market segments and channels for the products.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales goals.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Agronomy or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years’ agronomy experience.
  • Strong ability to developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships including farmers, dealers, and distributors.
  • Ability to identify opportunities with potential customers.
  • MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
