Job description

Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Territory Manager. This outside sales opportunity is within our industry-leading Institutional division, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers, including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do
  1. Grow sales within an existing territory of food service and hospitality accounts by providing customers with training, regular and emergency service, and sales demonstrations.
  2. Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts, building Ecolab’s brand in your market.
  3. Learn customers’ ware washing systems and devise unique solutions as their expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs.
  4. Apply mechanical aptitude to install, repair, and perform maintenance on ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment and systems, leveraging this service to strengthen customer relationships.
  5. Demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring that customers’ facilities are fully operational and teams are properly trained.
  6. Report to the district manager and be assigned to a specific area.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any background; communication and technical backgrounds are advantageous.
  2. Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably with a hospitality (HORECA) background.
  3. Understanding of business strategies and ability to develop plans to retain and grow the business.
  4. Ability to handle frequent interpersonal interactions and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
  5. Willingness to work overtime, on-call, and irregular hours in case of emergencies.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.
  7. Willing to be on call during off-hours and weekends.
  8. Previous experience in B2B commercial sales.
  9. Industry-related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and mechanical problem solving.
  10. Based in Bali and willing to relocate.
