Position Overview

Tencent Cloud is expanding aggressively in Indonesia as part of our broader international markets growth strategy, and we are seeking a motivated Senior Strategic/Channel Sales Executive to join us during this exciting phase. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key channel partners and enterprise customers, promoting Tencent Cloud solutions through cooperative selling and customized strategies. You will focus on building strong relationships, identifying market opportunities, and driving business growth by positioning Tencent Cloud’s value across diverse industries. Responsibilities:

  • Drive direct sales engagement by developing new business opportunities and building strong pipelines across enterprise sectors.
  • Build and maintain high-value relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs deeply and propose Tencent Cloud solutions that support their business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and, where necessary, with channel partners to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, contributing to Tencent Cloud’s revenue growth in Indonesia.
  • Support contract structuring and negotiation processes together with the Business Contracts Manager.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to refine sales strategies.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and success for customers by working closely with Solutions Engineers and product teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or its equivalents
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling cloud services, managing large high-profile accounts and partners. Solid knowledge of cloud services, CDN, SaaS, and the broader internet space.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required; Mandarin language skill is a plus.
  • Proven “hunter” mentality with exceptional ability to close sales and generate leads.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives with a strong record of closing high-value deals.
  • Strong technical sensibility, with the ability to understand complex solutions and translate them into customer benefits.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue, manage enterprise accounts, and articulate complex cloud and SaaS solutions to decision-makers.
  • Experience analyzing data, trends, and market conditions to develop key selling points and strategies.
