Telecommunication Outside Plant

Responsibilities:

1. Coordination with the client's Network team to establish connectivity requirements.
2. Initial consultations with Fiber Network Providers.
3. Assessment of fiber network availability and suitability.
4. Development of preliminary recommendations and requirements.
5. Facilitation of contracting process with selected telecom providers.
6. Review design and specification of fiber network.
7. Production of connectivity drawings using BIM/CAD capabilities if necessary.
8. Coordination and management of project stakeholders.
9. Periodic onsite visit of construction activities.
10. Periodic site inspections by Project Engineers.
11. Reporting on progress and addressing any issues.
12. Witnessing the Testing & Commissioning of the fiber network.
13. Verification of compliance with specifications and standards.
14. Addressing any discrepancies and ensuring quality assurance.
15. Reviewing post-deployment Operations & Maintenance activities conducted by the telecom provider.
16. Providing recommendations for ongoing reliability and performance.

Requirements and Skills:

1. At least 5 years of OSP & ISP project management experience with a regional Telecommunications operator.
2. Must have hands-on experience managing fiber optics pipeline build and fiber optic cable installations (OSP + ISP).
3. Ability to manage client expectations and maintain status documents for client projects regarding scope, budget, billing, schedules, and timeframes.
4. In-depth knowledge and understanding of Indonesia’s government code of practice.
5. Prior experience working with local telecommunication authorities & carriers.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
7. PMP, CDCP are a plus.
8. Experience in MS Project, Primavera, Fulcrum will be advantageous.
