Job summary

PT Ocean Buana Land is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot solar power systems (PLTS), including On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid configurations. Work is primarily conducted on rooftops and open areas, often at heights.

The role covers wiring, cable pulling, mounting solar panels, and ensuring safe handover to clients after commissioning. Prior experience with solar equipment and safety certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in strong/weak current electrical installation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable working at heights as most work is on rooftops.
• Basic understanding of inverters, batteries, solar charge controllers, and electrical measuring tools.
• Preferred: K3 Umum / K3 Listrik certification or Serkom (competency certificate for electrical engineering technicians).

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical and electrical components for PLTS systems according to design diagrams.
• Conduct DC cable pulling (panels to inverter) and AC cable pulling (inverter to building panels).
• Install mounting/racking systems for solar panels on rooftops/open areas.
• Perform testing and commissioning to ensure systems function safely before handover to clients.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for solar panels, inverters, and batteries.

Key responsibilities

Perform installation of mechanical and electrical components for PLTS systems according to design diagrams

Conduct DC cable pulling (from solar panels to inverter) and AC cable pulling (from inverter to building distribution panels)

Install mounting/racking systems for solar panels on rooftops and open areas

Perform testing and commissioning to ensure systems function safely before handover to clients

Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for solar panels, inverters, and batteries

About you

Minimum 1–2 years experience in strong/weak current electrical installation

Comfortable working at heights as majority of work is conducted on rooftops

Able to read and understand technical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams

Basic understanding of inverters, batteries, solar charge controllers, and electrical measuring tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester)

Preferred: K3 Umum / K3 Listrik certification or Serkom (competency certificate for electrical engineering technicians)
