Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Technician Hoist. The technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair hoist and crane systems in industrial environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Daily tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and documenting service activities and findings. The role involves calibrating and testing equipment, supporting IoT‑enabled monitoring systems, and coordinating with engineering and project teams during new installations and upgrades. The technician will also provide basic technical guidance to customers on proper operation and care of lifting equipment and may participate in emergency repair assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial lifting equipment, including hoists and crane systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge relevant to motors, controls, wiring, and safety devices in lifting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures, troubleshooting methods, and use of hand and power tools.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and safe working practices in industrial settings.
• Willingness to work on‑site at customer facilities, sometimes at heights or in challenging environments.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, project teams, and customers.
• Relevant vocational or technical education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is preferred.
• Previous experience as a technician in hoists, cranes, or related industrial equipment is an advantage.
