A leading mining company in Indonesia seeks an experienced Electrician for electrical maintenance of large equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and collaborating with teams. Applicants should have at least 4 years of relevant experience and a Senior High School diploma. The role requires high voltage experience and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Perform assigned tasks using hand/power tools, test equipment, calibrators and measurement meters related to normal electrical and instrumentation maintenance
Perform assigned tasks following written instructions and basic drawings
Perform assigned tasks to specified calibrations and programming parameters
Perform basic rebuilds of electrical switchgear/motors and instrumentation devices
Maintain a safe and neat work area and report defects, incidents and unsafe conditions.
Coach others to undertake the tasks of the Fixed Plant Electrician - Port and perform as the supervisor
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fixed plant electrical systems, including crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, and control systems.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, motors, switchgear, and instrumentation.
Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems as required.
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, electrical standards, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using CMMS (e.g., SAP, Pronto).
Collaborate with mechanical and instrumentation teams to support plant reliability and uptime.
Participate in shutdowns, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses before commencing work.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.

What we need?
Senior High School or equivalent or higher.
Minimum 4 years experience with electrical/ instrumentation maintenance or construction of large equipment.
Experience with high voltage up to 11K electricity.
Knowledge of basic DCS programming and ladder logic training for PLC analysis.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and electrical schematics.
Basic written and spoken English language competency
