Job summary

PT ZNJ FILTERING INDONESIA is seeking a mechanical technician to assemble, install, and inspect filtering systems according to drawings and specs.

The role includes routine and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, calibration of instruments, and meticulous record-keeping. You will work with engineering and production teams on site while following K3 health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK/D3 in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Able to read technical drawings and use hand tools.
• Understand basic engineering and industrial work.
• Able to work under deadlines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and inspect mechanical components and filtering systems according to technical specifications and drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on filtering equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment malfunctions, implementing timely repairs.
• Conduct quality control checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments and testing parts.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and optimise part performance.
• Support continuous improvement of mechanical systems and processes.

Education

SMK/D3 in mechanical engineering or related field
