PT MHI Engine System Indonesia, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine System Asia Pte. Ltd, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician (Genset) to join our After Sales Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and testing of generator sets (gensets) to ensure optimal performance in compliance with MHI standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on generator sets (gensets), including both minor and major services.
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues related to gensets.
  • Install and set up new gensets and their associated components.
  • Conduct testing and calibration of gensets to ensure accuracy and peak performance.
  • Prepare detailed work reports in accordance with MHI standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and engineers on complex tasks and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during fieldwork and service activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a background in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in the electrical or genset maintenance field.
  • In-depth understanding of genset operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Possession of a valid competency certificate from a recognized institution (e.g., BNSP).
  • Good communication skills to effectively explain technical issues to clients or team members.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual and field-based tasks.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license (SIM A) and valid Passport (preferred).
