Job summary

SeaOwl Indonesia in Batam is seeking a technician to join the mechanical services team. You will participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, following approved drawings and procedures.

Reporting to the Mechanical Foreman, you will support integration with other disciplines, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and help resolve installation issues promptly to maintain project schedules.

Qualifications

• Senior High School or Diploma required
• 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation, assembly per drawings and procedures.
• Install and maintain mechanical equipment, supports, piping components.
• Assist with setup of mechanical equipment for construction activities.
• Use mechanical hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
• Support equipment mobilization, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Report equipment defects, installation issues, and material shortages to the Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with other disciplines during installation and construction activities.
• Ensure all work complies with project HSE requirements, quality standards, and approved Method Statements.
• Support inspection, punch-list clearance, and mechanical completion activities.

• Support equipment mobilization, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Report equipment defects, installation issues, and material shortages to the Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with other disciplines during installation and construction activities.
