Job summary

PT. Kairos Utama Indonesia is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation including User Manuals, SOPs, API Guides, and release notes.

You will collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and business users to gather information and translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content. Candidates should have a bachelor's in IT/CS/English or related field, at least one year in technical writing, excellent English/Indonesian writing, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, English, Communication, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Writer or similar documentation role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English and/or Indonesian.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, system diagrams, and API documentation.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Word, Confluence, Markdown, Git/GitHub, Visio, Lucidchart, Acrobat, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including User Manuals, SOPs, Installation & Configuration Guides, API Documentation, Knowledge Base Articles, Release Notes, Training Materials, and System Design Documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, QA teams, product managers, and business users to gather technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
• Manage document version control and documentation publishing.
