Pengiklan Anonim seeks a Technical Superintendent to manage daily vessel operations, monitor PMS, and ensure timely repairs. You will control fuel use, oversee crew rotations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The role requires a maritime degree, at least one year in a superintendent position, and proficiency with MS Office. Strong leadership and decision-making are essential for coordinating with logistics, finance, licensing, and other departments.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of vessels assigned by management.
Monitor inventory, implement the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and ensure vessel repairs are carried out correctly, effectively, and on time.
Control fuel consumption and prevent fuel misuse on board.
Monitor crew rotation and crew performance.
Ensure vessels comply with all national shipping regulations related to safety, security, and the environment, and stay abreast of regulatory updates.
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, marketing, finance, and licensing) to ensure smooth vessel operations.
Conduct vessel inspections and follow up on inspection findings, both internally and externally.
Arrange crew change approvals for on-signer and off-signer crew.
Prepare supporting documents for monthly ship reports as needed and submit them to the charterer (ship user) every month.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Academy/Marine Engineering or any related major. Have ATT II Seafaring Certificate is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Superintendent
Microsoft Office – Proficiency in and ability to use computers effectively to create work reports.
Good Leaderships and able to make decision if needed.
Preferably skills(s): international convention regulation knowledge, ship management knowledge,ISMcode,ISPS code, basic safety, tankers familiarization.
