Technical Sales Manager/Executive (Food Ingredients)

To plan and direct sales, marketing, and business development activities in the assigned area or product lines to achieve sales volume, pricing, and selling cost objectives by implementing a consistent sales strategy, utilizing technical, organizational, and market knowledge/intelligence for the food industry (food ingredients).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and marketing proposals, make regular calls, and report to the supervisor on business performance.
  • Responsible for sales in East Java, including maintaining existing customers and developing new customers.
  • Align with country strategy to develop tactical plans based on market intelligence/trends and relevant external business partners’ strategies and activities.
  • Drive the implementation of tactical plans to ensure achievement of set targets.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key and potential business partners, especially large-volume and prospective customers.
  • Forecast business, monitor sales in the market to meet targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and supervisors to develop products and provide technical advice to customers.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Science, Food Science, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in food ingredients and related fields.
  • Knowledge of the East Java market, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel for business.
  • Proactive, results-driven, with good negotiation and communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated with good product knowledge.
