A leading company in edutainment is looking for a Technical Performance Marketing Specialist with over 5 years of experience. This role will involve leading online marketing and advertising campaigns targeted at the Netherlands and EU markets, working remotely from Indonesia. The ideal candidate is data-driven, technically savvy, and passionate about children's edutainment, with a freelance contract aimed at long-term collaboration.
Kids Worldwide Edutainment (KWED) is an impact venture capital firm focused on edutainment (education + entertainment) solutions for kids aged 0-12 years old. We are based in The Hague, Netherlands. We support edutainment start- and scaleups with capital, practical business development, and scaling.

We are seeking a highly-skilled and proactive Technical Performance Marketing Specialist with 5+ years of proven experience in online performance marketing. This role will be based in Indonesia (fully-remote).
As a Technical Performance Marketing Specialist, you will lead the setup, optimization, and maintenance of our online marketing and analytics systems (60-70%). You will also be responsible for the online advertising and campaigns management of the portfolio brands under KWED (30-40%). This includes campaigns for online advertising (Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), newsletter and subscriber, marketplace, and paid social media. These campaigns are focused on the Netherlands and EU markets, as well as distribution in the US with a goal to drive sales.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, data-driven, and experienced with a broad range of online marketing tools and platforms.
You will determine your work hours. Once determined, you will stick to the agreed work hours. Your work hours may be adjusted in joint consultation.
You will work directly with the Online Marketeer. You will largely work independently. Communication via email, chat and video call will take place as required. Weekly video calls will be scheduled to discuss progress.
Responsibilities:
Maintain online marketing accounts, tools (Google marketing, social media, Mailchimp, Ahrefs, Swydo, Cookiebot) and systems (Monday.com workspace, Google Workspace, domain configuration and DNS management)
Create and manage online advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest)
Manage and optimize newsletter and subscriber campaigns (primarily via Mailchimp)
Manage online marketplace presence and campaigns optimization (Amazon, e-tailize)
Work with APIs and coordinate marketing platform integrations (Mailchimp, social media, online marketplaces) for automation and performance tracking
Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience in online performance marketing
Hands-on working knowledge of online marketing tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Mailchimp, Ahrefs, Swydo, Cookiebot) and platform (Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest)
Strong analytical and technical skills, especially in APIs and integrations
Experience with search engine optimization (SEO), app store optimization (ASO) and online marketplace optimization
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently, proactively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic and attention to details
Affinity with edutainment (education + entertainment) for children and its corresponding target audience (parents of young children) is a plus point
Conditions:
Agreement of service: Freelance contract. The objective is to work together for the long term
Requirement to comply with applicable laws as a freelancer or independent contractor in respective country of residence
Work hours per week: 40 hours
Work environment: Dedicated quiet workspace without distractions
Work equipment: Usage of own laptop or desktop computer with access to reliable high-speed internet
