Performs and manages activities associated with the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) organization within the PJP-Team for various O&M and project activities related to the high-voltage electrical transmission and distribution system in the Highland (HL) and Lowlands (LL).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support and help implement PJP safety programs, participate in pre-shift safety meetings, assist with risk analysis and SOP development and review. Observe work in progress to ensure safe work practices, correct unsafe practices or conditions, stop work if needed, and report safety issues.
- Establish and maintain communication with PJP Management, T & D team, SCADA team, and engineering team. Serve as a technical resource for electrical transmission within these groups.
- Support day-to-day T & D operations and maintenance activities, including transmission & distribution structures, lines, breakers, transformers, switches, and controls.
- Lead T & D projects as the technical resource.
- Develop PJP employees in high-voltage electrical operation and maintenance, including structures, lines, breakers, transformers, switches, and controls.
- Support and lead routine maintenance planning for T & D activities, establishing communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other PJP departments and external teams to support electrical needs.
- Recommend and implement improvements in electrical maintenance and testing practices.
- Review electrical testing and inspection results, make recommendations for issues identified.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in electrical transmission and distribution maintenance with at least 10 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of power system design and application in transmission and distribution.
- Ability to review electrical drawings and manuals.
- Experience in work planning, execution, and control.
- Ability to develop team knowledge and skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in computer use, MS-Office, Excel, and engineering software is advantageous.
- Broad knowledge of electrical processes and equipment in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Organizational skills with delegation and mentoring abilities.
- Administrative and management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); willingness to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
