Job Description

Gameloft Indonesia is hiring a Technical Artist Supervisor to lead and mentor our technical art team. This role will be the main point of bridging between creative vision and technical implementation, ensuring high-quality visuals while optimizing performance.

Responsibilities:

• Create art pipeline and guide artists to ensure adherence
• Supervise 3D Artists to meet quality and technical standards
• Provide technical solutions and training for artists
• Asset integration and optimization in game engine
• Optimize 3D models, textures, shaders, and animations for performance
• Create and maintain scripts, tools, or plugins to automate tasks
• Collaborate with artists to create custom shaders
• Assist with character rigging, skinning, and animation implementation
• Address performance issues in rigs or animations
• Debug and resolve art-related technical issues
• Ensure proper art asset integration into the game engine
• Run tests to verify visual fidelity and performance
• Mentor game artists on technical issues
• Identify and resolve technical issues between art and programming
• Create and maintain technical art pipeline and documentation
• Liaise between Artists and Developers
• Collaborate to create or modify tools for art asset creation
• Create asset validation tools
• Ensure art assets meet quality standards across platforms
• Stay updated with industry tools, techniques, and trends

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Game Engine Tools: Unity, Unreal, VR
• Expertise in 3D Tools: 3Ds Max, ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D
• Excellent professional English skills
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Proficiency in 3D Modelling, Texturing, Shading, Lighting, Rendering, Skinning, Rigging, VFX, and Animation
