Job summary

PT Westindo Esa Perkasa is seeking an experienced HVAC Team Leader to supervise daily installation, maintenance, and repair activities in Jakarta. You will plan schedules, allocate manpower, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of projects, covering VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, and Chiller systems.

The role requires 2–5 years in HVAC with a strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and related certifications. Join a company with a long-standing telecom and power systems focus, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK/ Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh Graduated or 2–5 years in HVAC installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, commissioning.
• Proven experience as HVAC Team Leader, Supervisor, Foreman, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of AC systems including VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, Chiller, and cooling towers.
• HVAC certifications or competency licenses are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the HVAC team in daily installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Plan and monitor HVAC work schedules, manpower allocation, tools, and materials to ensure safety and on-schedule completion.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems including VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, Chiller.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and standards.
• Perform inspection and quality control of HVAC installation and maintenance activities.
• Identify technical problems and provide effective solutions for HVAC equipment and installation issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Procurement, HSE/QHSE, and other teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor performance and productivity of technicians to meet standards and targets.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment used for HVAC activities.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide training to HVAC technicians.
• Prepare daily/weekly work progress reports and required documentation.
• Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and resolution of outstanding issues.

Job description

Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Air Conditioning/HVAC team in carrying out daily installation, maintenance, and repair activities.

Plan and monitor HVAC work schedules, manpower allocation, tools, and materials to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.

Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of air conditioning systems, including VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, Chiller, and related HVAC equipment.

Ensure all HVAC works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.

Perform inspection and quality control of HVAC installation and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Identify technical problems and provide effective solutions for HVAC equipment, systems, and installation issues.

Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Procurement, HSE/QHSE, and other teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor the performance and productivity of technicians and ensure that work is completed according to the required standards and targets.

Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials used for HVAC activities.

Implement and enforce HSE/QHSE requirements, safe work practices, and company procedures within the work area.

Conduct toolbox meetings and provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to HVAC technicians.

Prepare daily/weekly work progress reports, inspection records, maintenance reports, and other required documentation.

Support project handover, testing and commissioning activities, and ensure all outstanding HVAC issues are properly resolved.

Qualifications

Minimum SMK/ Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

Fresh Graduated or Minimum 2-5 years of experience in HVAC/air conditioning installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Proven experience as an HVAC/AC Team Leader, Supervisor, Foreman, or equivalent position.

Strong knowledge of air conditioning and HVAC systems, including AC, VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, Chiller, Cooling Tower, and related equipment.

HVAC-related certifications or competency licenses are an advantage
