Job summary

PT MAINSTORY TEKNOLOGI INDONESIA (MainStory Daycare & HomeCare Pintar) is seeking a motivated early childhood education assistant to support teaching sessions at our BSD center. You will follow lesson plans provided by HQ, create a safe, stimulating learning space, and monitor children’s progress.

This paid role is for six months, with hours 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday, offering 20–25 hours per week and the opportunity to gain practical experience in a social mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong enthusiasm for teaching and early childhood education.
• Open to final year undergraduates or recent graduates with less than 1 year of experience.
• Experience in early childhood education is advantageous.
• Deep passion for our social mission.
• Available for 6 months and able to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching children in a safe and positive environment using HQ-provided lesson plans.
• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
• Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and well-maintained.
• Monitor children's progress and report any issues.

Job description

• Assist in teaching children in a safe and positive environment, using lesson plan and curriculum provided by HQ team
• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children
• Ensure that center facilities are safe for children. That includes checking that safety equipment is available and working, removing hazards and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly
• Monitor children's progress and report any issues

Requirements

• Strong enthusiasm for teaching and early childhood education
• We welcome applications from final year undergraduate students and recent graduates (with less than one year of experience) from any academic background (majors in Psychology or Early Childhood Education would be particularly advantageous, but not a must-have)
• Experienced teachers seeking an opportunity to gain experience in early childhood education are also encouraged to apply
• Having relevant experiences in early childhood education (e.g., completed courses related to developmental psychology / education, past teaching experiences, volunteering experiences, etc) would be highly advantageous
• Has high drive and results orientation

Notes

• Available for at least 4 hours per day or 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
