Job summary

EY in Jakarta seeks an experienced biometrics expert to guide clients through business and technology transformation journeys, bringing a deep perspective on how biometric identity can strengthen trust and efficiency.

You will design, build, and integrate scalable biometric solutions across face, fingerprint, and iris, including ABIS interfaces, and advise on identity verification methods within National Digital Identity programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT or related field.
• CBSP or CBP certifications preferred or equivalent.
• 10+ years in biometric solutions across face, fingerprint and iris.
• Experience integrating ABIS systems and advising on digital identity.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with a diverse range of clients and colleagues to deliver the latest trends, practices, technologies, and architectures. Your focus will be on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich, collaborate, and deliver value.

Requirements

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Informatics Engineering.
• Preferably hold a Certified Biometrics Security Professional (CBSP), Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP), or an equivalent certification.
• At least 10 years of experience in implementing biometric solutions across three modalities (face, fingerprint, and iris) with a minimum of 10 million records.
• Proven experience in integrating systems between different Automated Biometric Identification Systems (ABIS).
• A strong background in consulting services and technical advice related to National Digital Identity and identity verification methods, including biometrics, document verification, and facial recognition.
