Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced biometrics specialist to guide clients through technology and business transformation. The role emphasizes biometric deployments across face, fingerprint, and iris, with a strong consulting component and expertise in identity verification methods.

The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and certifications (CBSP/CBP) where possible, along with extensive industry experience in biometric

• Provide technical guidance within a consulting context and contribute to National Digital Identity initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with a diverse range of clients and colleagues to deliver the latest trends, practices, technologies, and architectures. Your focus will be on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich, collaborate, and deliver value.

Requirements:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Informatics Engineering.
• Preferably hold a Certified Biometrics Security Professional (CBSP), Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP), or an equivalent certification.
• At least 10 years of experience in implementing biometric solutions across three modalities (face, fingerprint, and iris) with a minimum of 10 million records.
• A strong background in consulting services and technical advice related to National Digital Identity and identity verification methods, including biometrics, document verification, and facial recognition.
