Tax Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic team at PT Kartika Inti Sejati, a leading company in Bandung, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's tax compliance and providing strategic tax planning advice to ensure the business operates efficiently and compliantly.

What you'll be doing

1. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and filing of all tax returns and related documents
2. Analysing tax regulations and legislation to identify tax planning opportunities and minimise tax liabilities
3. Providing advice and guidance to management on tax-related matters, including the tax implications of business decisions
4. Coordinating with external tax authorities and advisors to resolve any tax-related issues
5. Supervising and training junior tax professionals to develop their skills and knowledge
6. Continuously monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company maintains compliance

What we're looking for

1. At least 5 years of experience in a tax supervisory or senior tax accounting role, preferably in a large or mid-sized organisation
2. Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate risks
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and external tax authorities
5. Proven ability to supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals
6. A relevant bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
