Pt Yakult Indonesia Persada is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to lead corporate taxation, ensure compliance with Indonesian and international tax laws, and optimize the company’s tax position. This fully remote role supports strategic tax planning from any location in Indonesia.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UU PPh, UU PPN, and transfer pricing, with 7+ years of corporate tax experience and excellent communication skills to collaborate with authorities and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Law or related field.
• 7+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably in multinational firms.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and compliance (UU PPh, UU PPN).
• Experience with tax planning, transfer pricing, and international tax issues.
• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns (income tax, VAT, etc.) on time.
• Conduct tax research and advise on new business initiatives.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file all corporate tax returns accurately and on time, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax implications of new business initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities legally and efficiently.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors on tax-related matters and audits.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and ensure the company remains compliant.
• Advise on transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional tax certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a multinational company or reputable tax advisory firm.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures (UU PPh, UU PPN, etc.).
• Experience with tax planning, transfer pricing, and international tax issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
