About the job Tax Senior Manager (Automotive)

We are assisting a well-known Automotive company that is looking to hire a Tax Senior Manager position. This role will be responsible for the entire operations and marketing initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Develop and manage tax strategies to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams, and business unit leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective tax planning.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and tax policies to minimize risk and optimize tax efficiencies.
  • Manage and lead the tax disputes process (tax audits, tax objections, and tax appeals).
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax rules and regulations, timely communicate to various stakeholders, assess their impact, and suggest actions to mitigate risk and tap into potential planning opportunities.
  • Lead and develop the tax compliance and tax dispute teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in tax management or a related role, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful tax planning, tax compliance, and tax disputes (tax audits, tax objections, and tax appeals).
  • Professionally certified in Brevet A and B is a must.
  • Experience in retail and automotive business is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with tax software and Microsoft Office.
