About the role

PT. LIPPO KARAWACI TBK' is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Karawaci, Banten. This full-time position will play a crucial role in managing the company's tax affairs, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and growing organisation, contributing to the strategic objectives of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the preparation and filing of all tax returns and reports, including income tax, value-added tax, and other relevant taxes
  • Analysing and interpreting tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure the company's tax compliance
  • Liaising with tax authorities and representing the company in tax audits and investigations
  • Providing tax advice and planning to the finance and accounting teams, as well as to senior management
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and implementing strategies to minimise the company's tax burden
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicating the impact to the relevant stakeholders
  • Supervising and training the tax team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong background in taxation
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in a tax management role, preferably within the property or real estate industry
  • Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using tax software and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy
