Job summary

NPP Consulting seeks a tax professional to support audit processes, review client records, and prepare responses to tax disputes in Indonesia. You will analyze VAT, corporate income tax, and other tax obligations, and assist in meetings with tax authorities alongside senior consultants.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation/Law and 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax firms, with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in tax consulting firms, accounting firms, or tax-related positions.
• Good understanding of Indonesian taxation regulations and tax administration procedures.
• Familiarity with tax audit procedures, tax objections, appeals, and tax dispute resolution will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Good command of English or Mandarin, both written and spoken, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling tax audit processes conducted by the DJP.
• Review and analyze clients' accounting records, financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documents.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other relevant tax obligations.
• Assist in preparing responses to tax audit findings, clarification letters, and tax audit discussion documents.
• Attend tax audit meetings and discussions with tax authorities, together with the senior consultant or manager.
• Prepare tax audit working papers, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
• Assist in handling tax objection applications and tax appeal processes.
• Prepare and review objection letters, appeal documents, rebuttals, and other tax dispute-related correspondence.
• Conduct research and analysis on applicable tax laws, regulations, and relevant tax court decisions.
• Provide technical support and keep updated with DJP policies.
