Job summary

Peoplyee, a trading firm in Jakarta, seeks a Tax & Accounting Specialist to manage tax compliance and invoicing processes. You will prepare VAT and withholding tax reports, submit corporate income tax filings, and maintain clear tax records to support accounting activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Taxation, at least 3 years in taxation or accounting, and strong Excel skills. Brevet A & B are preferred, and you’ll work with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• Minimum 3 years in taxation or accounting.
• Experience in public accounting, tax consultancy, or auditing is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of withholding tax, VAT, e-invoices, e withholding tax slips, corporate income tax, transfer pricing.
• Experience maintaining a general ledger and assisting financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Brevet A and B tax certification.
• High integrity with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage demanding workloads.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver invoicing documents to customers.
• Perform weekly and monthly value-added tax and withholding tax reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit value-added tax and withholding tax reports.
• Prepare corporate income tax reports and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation.
• Maintain accurate tax records and support related accounting activities.
