PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia is seeking a Tax and Accounting Supervisor to lead the company’s accounting and taxation functions in West Java. You will ensure VAT and income tax compliance, maintain accurate financial records, and support audits with external authorities.

The role requires 3-5 years in accounting/taxation, a degree in accounting or taxation, and knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations. BKP/CA/CPAcertifications are preferred; fluency in Indonesian is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience with Indonesian tax regs (PPh, VAT) and financial reporting.
• Familiar with SOPs and strong data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Indonesian language and clear explanations of complex concepts.

As Tax and Accounting Supervisor, you will play a strategic role in managing the company's accounting and taxation functions, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards in Indonesia
• Handle company tax obligations including income tax calculations, value-added tax (VAT), and other taxes
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system and properly documented
• Perform bank reconciliations and account verifications periodically to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare tax reports and supporting documents for internal and external audit purposes
• Analyze and provide recommendations regarding efficient tax strategies in compliance with applicable regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties in audit and tax examination processes
• Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations to ensure company compliance with the latest regulations
• Support the book closing process by performing adjustment journals and necessary analyses

About you

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or related field. Candidates with BKP, CA, or CPA certification are preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting and taxation at a company or consulting firm
• Deep understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including Income Tax Law, VAT Law, and other tax regulations
• Mastery of financial accounting standards and financial reporting applicable in Indonesia
• Understanding of SOPs, particularly financial SOPs
• Expert in using modern accounting software and financial information systems
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail regarding data accuracy
• Good communication skills in Indonesian language and ability to explain accounting and taxation concepts clearly
• Experience with e-invoicing and digital tax reporting systems
