The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Tavern Food Runners to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Tavern Food Runner, you will be responsible for transporting food and other products from one location within the facility to another.

Pay

$14.70 – $15.70 / hour

What will you do?

Coordinate multiple food orders at one time, working with kitchen and serve staff.
Deliver food and beverages outdoors in an efficient and timely manner with attention to special guest requests.
Keep work area and equipment neat, clean and sanitized.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Perform other duties as assigned.

More about you

Related experience in a fast-paced, busy restaurant setting with high level attention to detail required.
Ability to follow procedures and take directions.
Courteous and efficient customer service with ability to anticipate customer’s needs.

Physical requirements

Ability to stand and walk for entirely of shift, including bending, grasping, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
Lift and carry food trays and items weighing up to 50 pounds.
May work in areas with small spaces around other co-workers and navigate seating areas.
Ability to withstand temperatures in varying outside weather and kitchen conditions – hot, damp, or very cold environment.
