Job summary

Japfa is seeking a meticulous tallyman/inventory clerk to accurately tally and record feed production and raw material usage at the RPU Megaluh facility. You will support inventory management, data integrity, and reporting to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or agriculture, strong math and data-entry skills, and the ability to work both independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a tallyman, inventory clerk, or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or agricultural environment.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately count and record data.
• Familiarity with basic inventory management principles.
• Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate counting and recording of incoming and outgoing raw materials (e.g., corn, soy meal, additives) at the RPU Megaluh.
• Record finished feed production quantities and types.
• Verify quantities against delivery notes, production orders, and other relevant documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, both manually and using designated software/systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly tally reports as required.
• Assist in physical stock counts and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies within the work area.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
