Work you’ll do

  • Preparation of legal documents and records management, secretarial support and office management
  • Draft, encode or review legal documents like contracts, agreements, corporate secretary certificates, memorandums, forms, and other documents and papers as assigned
  • Proofread and cite check documents, as well as review documents and exhibits in preparation of dispositions, arbitrations, and trials
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, forms, affidavits, and other documents as required
  • Perform records check, legal and non-legal research, typing, clerical, secretarial and administrative functions
  • Administrative duties such as taking phone calls, answering correspondence and filing
  • Prepare and encode minutes of committee meetings, board meetings or board resolutions
  • Provide administrative and paralegal support and assistance to lawyers and consultants
  • Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

Requirements

  • Education. Bachelor’s/College Degree in Political Science, Business Administration, or any related course.
  • Work Experience. 2-3 years of related experience in a law firm
  • Certifications. None Required.
  • Other Qualifications.
    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Political Science, Business Administration or any related course.
    • Preferably with Law units or a Law Graduate
    • With experience in government dealings and transactions is an advantage.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
