Work you’ll do

• Provide support for tax compliance advisory services for clients in various industries
• Compile and prepare tax returns, and conduct compliance and reporting, tax management and risk, as well as control assessment
• Conduct research and consult with team members on various tax matters
• Work closely with clients and liaise with government agencies e.g., Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance, and others
• Assist with any other ad hoc matters as necessary

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Tax, or hold a Professional Qualification (CPA, ACCA, MIA, MICPA)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services firm
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• Strong team player willing to share responsibilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
