Systems Analyst with Loan Origination Systems Experience

LOAN ORIGINATION EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY - BANKING EXP AN ADVANTAGE

THE RESOURCE REQUIREMENT

(4) Systems Analyst/Quality Assurance consultants (ideally with technical/developer IT background) required for a 3 to 6 month contract currently scheduled to commence in mid-April.

Ideally we are looking for individuals based in Jakarta who speak the local language. However, applications also considered from Australian Systems Analysts with extensive prior loan origination solution experience.

THE PROJECT

The application domain is LOAN ORIGINATION PROCESSING - BANKING, and the task is to work on a Loan Origination platform focused on the configuration of a Business Rules engine.

A business rules engine has been built to dynamically manage the gathering and processing of information required by a bank for loan applications.

The bank wants their customers to have a tailored, streamlined and where possible, automated experience, and make sure that all required information can be gathered with a highly effective loan application process.

The role of the Systems Analyst/QA Consultants is to take the documentation that has been produced by the bank's loan origination SMEs, detailing with all aspects of the loan origination process, and (using the business rules engine configuration interface) the task is to configure the business rules engine with all the rules and dynamic application form management process steps required.

As well there can be up to 50 "associated information" providers who will be providing data to the loan application process via one form or another of real-time integration. These integrations and business roles will also need to be configured into the rules engine.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. 5 years or more experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  2. Evidence of at least 3 years working with loan origination solutions in a major bank
  3. Excellent communications skills in English
  4. Open to contract role for 3 - 6 months
  5. Be ready to start in mid-April (or thereabouts)

HIGHLY REGARDED ATTRIBUTES

  1. Fluent in Indonesian
  2. Experience with and working knowledge of OutSystems platform
  3. Able to work on-site at client office in Jakarta.

In this project, the responsibilities will span across a variety of activities that ensure the systems are built correctly, meet business requirements, and are robust enough to handle real-world banking operations. Here are key activities that will be required to be performed.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  1. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
  2. Analysing existing systems and understanding how they will integrate into the new platform.
  3. Documenting use cases, user stories, and technical specifications.

Quality Assurance Planning:

  1. Defining test plans and quality standards specific to the banking environment.
  2. Developing test cases that align with business processes and system functionality.
  3. Ensuring regulatory compliance and data security standards are met.

Test Execution and Reporting:

  1. Performing functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing across the banking systems.
  2. Executing automated and manual test scripts in OutSystems.
  3. Tracking defects and working with developers to resolve them.
  4. Providing clear documentation of test results and quality assurance reports to stakeholders.

UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Support:

  1. Assisting the business users in UAT by ensuring the system behaves as expected in real-life scenarios.
  2. Gathering feedback from users and ensuring necessary changes are implemented before final release.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

  1. Documenting testing processes, results, and troubleshooting steps.
  2. Ensuring that all testing artefacts are available for future reference.
  3. Supporting the knowledge transfer process for post-implementation support.

Regulatory and Compliance Testing:

  1. Ensuring that all systems comply with banking regulations, such as data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR) and security standards.
  2. Performing audits and preparing reports for compliance checks.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

  1. Working closely with the development team to provide feedback and ensure that testing is integrated into the development lifecycle (DevOps).
  2. Suggesting improvements for processes and tools to streamline future testing and deployment cycles.

These activities will be key to ensuring that the new banking systems are fully integrated, functional, and compliant with all necessary regulations.
