Job summary

PT. IIJ Global Solutions Indonesia is seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer to join our SI & Delivery team in Jakarta. This hands-on role designs, builds, and delivers network, server, and cloud infrastructure for customers across Indonesia.

You will work with Sales, Operations, and Security to ensure secure, reliable deployments from requirements gathering to go-live and handover. Travel within Indonesia for projects is required; you will also create clear design documents,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/telecommunications or related field.
• 5+ years in Network/Systems/Infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with SI or MSP preferred.
• CCNA/CCNP or cloud certs are nice.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced System Integration (SI) Engineer to join our SI & Delivery team.

In this hands-on engineering role, you will design, build, and deliver network, server, and cloud infrastructure solutions for our customers — from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, and handover.

You will work closely with customers across Indonesia and collaborate with our Sales, Operations, and Security teams to deliver secure, reliable, and operationally ready infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing & switching, VPN, and Wi-Fi, for customer offices, factories, and data centers
• Configure and deploy network security solutions, including firewalls, UTM, and SD-WAN
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers
• Build and migrate workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
• Participate in customer projects from requirements gathering through implementation, go-live, and handover to the Operations team
• Perform on-site installation, testing, troubleshooting, and cutover activities at customer locationsTravel within Indonesia as required for customer projects
• Manage technical issues and project deadlines while keeping customers and project managers informed
• Create clear and structured technical documentation, including design documents, parameter sheets, network diagrams, test plans and results, and SOPs for handover
• Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams by providing technical input for proposals and solution designs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Network, System, or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably with a system integrator (SI) or managed service provider
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure implementation, migration, or delivery projects
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies, including routing, switching, VLAN, and VPN
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls and access control
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, including both client and server environments
• Working knowledge of Linux OS, including installation, basic administration, and CLI
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear and structured design and handover documentation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Willing to travel for work within Indonesia and occasionally overseas

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Microsoft Azure, AWS, LPIC, or RHCSA
• Experience working with Japanese customers or in a Japanese business environment
• Experience with SD-WAN / SASE solutions such as Cato Networks or with Starlink connectivity

Languages

• English: Good written and spoken communication skills (required), particularly for technical documentation and customer communication
• Bahasa Indonesia: Native or fluent (required)
