Job summary

The role involves capacity planning, performance monitoring, and close collaboration with application, database, network, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Server, Storage, Virtualization, and HCI solutions.
• Manage daily operations and perform advanced troubleshooting for server/storage/virtualization/HCI to ensure availability and performance.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, and health checks of infrastructure resources.
• Perform maintenance and lifecycle activities including patching, firmware upgrades, and hardware replacements.
• Collaborate with application, database, network and security teams to support integration and resolve complex issues.
• Lead implementations, migrations, and expansions with planning, testing, and documentation.
• Analyze incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks for operations.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and coordinate with vendors for advanced support.

Job description

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Server, Storage, Virtualization, and HCI solutions based on business and technical requirements.

Manage daily operations and perform advanced troubleshooting for server, storage, virtualization, and HCI environments to ensure system availability and performance.

Conduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, health checks, and optimization of infrastructure resources.

Perform infrastructure maintenance and lifecycle activities, including patching, firmware upgrades, hardware replacement, configuration changes, and system upgrades.

Collaborate with application, database, network, security, and other technical teams to support infrastructure integration and resolve complex technical issues.

Lead technical implementation, migration, and expansion projects while ensuring proper planning, testing, documentation, and post-implementation validation.

Analyze recurring incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend preventive and corrective actions.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, infrastructure diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.

Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and coordinate with vendors or principals for issues requiring advanced support.
