Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sales activity to generate opportunity in the targeted segments or applications
• Support pipeline and take ownership for the technical inquiry
• Manage customer engagement and relationship at all levels
• Understand customer application & systems and provide solutions as customer need
• Work closely with related channels to boost product growth (OEM, SI, End User, PnB, Contractor, Services, Specifiers, etc)
• Work closely with V2, Offer Marketing, and GTM Leaders to develop sales strategies, sales approach and implement sales project plans and action plans to win the targeted project
• Prepare product & technical presentations, technical documentation, compliance lists, and related documents; work closely with the engineering team on project pre-bid specifications for consultants, contractors, and End Users
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Internal collaboration and working with the team

Qualifications

• Growth mindset, highly motivated, determined, and target-driven
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial & process automation pre-sales activity
• Able to deliver automation solutions for any industry segment
• Knowledge in IoT Software solutions is an advantage
• An ability to influence customers and partners across the organization while maintaining healthy relationships
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Technical component & connectivity expertise with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA Systems, and/or VFDs
• Networking (Ethernet, MBTCP/IP, EthernetIP, etc)
• Can translate an automation solution into an architecture
• Ability to understand customer applications and provide solutions
• Ability to create and deliver product and technical presentations
• Ability to create and deliver training for internal and external audiences
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
• Ability to work as a team
