About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sushi Assistant to join our dynamic team at Libra Food Service in West Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Sushi Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. What you'll be doing

Assisting the Head Sushi Chef in the preparation and presentation of a variety of sushi dishes

Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in the sushi preparation area

Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and timely service

Participating in menu development and testing new sushi recipes

Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer requests and feedback

Maintaining a well-organised and stocked sushi station

Adhering to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a Sushi Assistant or similar role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel

Proven skills in preparing and presenting a variety of sushi dishes

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for presentation

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
