Job summary

Sinar Mas Land is seeking a field survey assistant to perform topographic measurements and data plotting on-site in Samarinda. You will record results, minimize errors, and ensure data aligns with design drawings for reviews and payments.

Responsibilities include staking out sites, determining elevations, and maintaining total station equipment. Diploma in Geodetic/Civil Engineering and 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Geodetic Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• At least 1 year of work experience in construction or land surveying.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Able to operate surveying instruments (theodolite, total station, level).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field topographic measurements and plot field data.
• Record and evaluate measurement results to minimize errors and implement corrections.
• Follow procedures used by the infrastructure contractor for design reviews and payment processing.
• Conduct site measurements, staking out and determining elevations according to plan drawings.
• Maintain and care for total stations and related equipment to ensure accuracy.

Job description

• Conducting field topographic measurements, compiling, and plotting field data.
• Recording and evaluating measurement results to minimize errors and take corrective and preventative measures.
• Understanding and following the measurement procedures performed by the infrastructure contractor to obtain accurate data based on field conditions for design reviews and payment processing.
• Conducting site measurements, staking out (point determination), and determining elevations according to the plan drawings.
• Maintaining and caring for work equipment (total stations) to ensure they are always in good and accurate condition.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma Degree in Geodetic Engineering/Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the construction/land surveying field.
• Computer literate (Ms.Office and AutoCAD).
• Able to operate measuring instruments for survey purposes (theodolite, total station, waterpass).
