PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking an International Logistics Director to lead and grow its Indonesia operations from Surabaya. The role requires overseeing logistics, business development, and financial performance across multimodal transportation, warehousing, and cross-border logistics.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international logistics, strong commercial acumen, and fluency in English and Mandarin. On-site work in Surabaya is mandatory, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6–8 years of international logistics or related leadership experience.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, bonded logistics, and global freight.
• Willingness to travel and to work on-site in Surabaya.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company's overall logistics operations and business activities in Indonesia.
• Develop and execute Indonesia's market expansion and international logistics strategy.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop new customers, and establish strategic partnerships with local logistics stakeholders.
• Develop diversified cooperation models across transportation, warehousing, bonded logistics, international freight forwarding, and supply chain services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Indonesian customers, suppliers, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop business plans, budgets, cost-control strategies, and operational targets for the Indonesia market.
• Oversee financial performance, project profitability, ROI analysis, and operational efficiency to support sustainable business growth.
• Establish effective risk management frameworks, internal controls, and standardized approval processes.
• Monitor Indonesian logistics regulations, industry policies, bonded-zone requirements, international trade regulations, and other regulatory developments.
• Lead and develop the local logistics organization while effectively integrating resources across commercial and operational functions.
• Coordinate closely with HQ and international stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of corporate strategies in Indonesia.
• Manage operational challenges and emergency situations while maintaining business continuity and service quality.
