Management Consultants must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact. In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change. Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.
Your Role
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.
Your responsibilities may include:
Collaborate with clients to assess, design, and implement supply chain and operations strategies.
Lead or support engagements in areas such as supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and operational excellence.
Utilize data analytics and digital tools to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Develop and execute transformation roadmaps to enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability.
Support business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.
Work cross-functionally with teams across strategy, technology, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
3-7 years of experience in a consulting role, focusing on supply chain and operations.
Strong expertise in supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, or operational transformation.
Experience with digital supply chain technologies, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and deliver actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
Prior experience in a global consulting firm or industry leadership role is highly desirable.
