A leading company in the FMCG sector seeks a Supply Chain Finance BP Assistant Manager in Jakarta Timur. The role involves financial partnership with procurement and supply chain teams, managing budgets and forecasts, and providing analytical insights to enhance efficiency and strategic decisions.
Business Partnering & Strategic Support:
Finance partner to the procurement and supply chain team, offering proactive analysis to guide strategic sourcing and supplier decisions.
Support business cases for major initiatives, including contracts, category strategies, and supplier partnerships.
Provide financial input for make-or-buy assessments, supplier changes, and procurement related investments.
Collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams, providing financial expertise and guidance on various projects, initiatives, and strategic decisions.
Provide cost breakdowns, should-cost analyses, and benchmarks to support strategic sourcing and negotiations.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve cost transparency within the supply chain.
Assessing and mitigating financial risks associated with procurement and supply chain operations, such as fluctuations in commodity, fuel prices or currency exchange rates.
Monitoring and controlling logistics costs (transportation, warehousing, etc.), identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Manage the special projects and create the ad-hoc report as needed
Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reporting:
Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for the supply chain and procurement, working closely with operations teams to ensure accurate financial planning.
Integrate procurement and supply chain performance into business reviews and strategic discussions.
Monitor supply chain and procurement budgets, conduct variance analysis, and highlight risks or opportunities to improve efficiency and control.
Create dashboards and reports to offer real-time insights into procurement performance and supplier metrics.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
A minimum 5-7 years experiences in handling costing as factory finance or finance controller.
Working experience as finance business partner in supply chain/procurement in FMCG Company is most preferable.
Experience using SAP system is a must.
Having strong analytical thinking to turn the analytical result into insights that ultimately lead to better business strategy and decisions.
Attention to detail. Strong partner management, collaboration, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft excel with strong system abilities and compliance mindset.
Willing to go for business trip around Java area
