Job summary

Flex Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier development and quality assurance improvements across manufacturing. You will work with suppliers to implement process controls, PPAP/FAI, and reliability testing to meet customer requirements.

You will track pilot runs, drive corrective actions, manage supplier audits, and collaborate with sourcing and engineering to optimize components and processes in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Select suitable suppliers with joint effort of sourcing on quality, capability, pricing, delivery, environment, society regulations, etc., against customer requirements.
• Implement new supplier qualification through capability matching, risk assessment, self-assessment, onsite qualification audit, and database management.
• Understand drawings/specifications to feedback value-added engineering proposals to customer and supplier for optimization of manufacturing processes or products.
• Implement PPAP/FAI, material certificates, quality/control plans, FMEA, MSA, process parameter sheet, RoHS compliance, reliability tests, COC, etc.
• Track pilot run quality performance and drive supplier corrective actions from pilot runs to mass production.
